History of Rustic Northwest

My name is April Stevens and in 2009, along with my husband Brent, we created the company Rustic Northwest. Both our families are from the Idaho/Montana area.  We really love this area and the outdoors in general so wanted to portray that in our business.  We love fishing, hunting, camping, hiking, being outdoors and gardening.  I have always been a crafter of many things and in 2008 I came across the art of soap making and fell in love with it right away.  My husband Brent and I just had our first child and needed a little extra income so we decided to create Rustic Northwest and sell my soaps along with a few other passions of mine.  I have worked very hard to come up with some great soaps and candles that really capture the aroma of our region.

We now have two kids and I am able to be a full time stay at home mom and make soaps and candles along with a few other things here and there in my spare time.
